I was going through and re-organising my makeup collection a few weeks ago and rediscovered the 3 items:
- The Face Shop Lovely Meex Blusher in BR802
- Shiseido The Makeup Eyeshadow Duo in #4 Yellow Brown
- Lancome Radiant Smoothing Eyeshadow Duo in Paris Blossom
The Face Shop Lovely Meex Blusher in BR802
This is a pretty pastel peach shade blush with silver glitter/shimmers. At first glance, it appears a dusty orange, but applies a coral/pink on my face. It has average pigmentation, has a smooth texture and is easily blendable.
The thing I like about the Lovely Meex range blushers, is that the packaging comes refillable/interchangeable. The plastic blush pan easily pops out, and the overall it is lightweight yet sturdy. The only thing I don't like about this blush is that the silver glitters can be quite visible.
Shiseido The Makeup Eyeshadow Duo in #4 Yellow Brown
This eyeshadow duo is made up of a light beige/champagne and a mustard/gold. I wear this by applying the lighter shade all over the lids, and the darker shade under the crease. The texture feels smooth and the powder seems finely milled.
I like this duo as it's appropriate for everyday wear and the combination of both shades subtly gives warmth to my complexion. The thing I don't like is the average pigmentation.
Lancome Radiant Smoothing Eyeshadow Duo in Paris Blossom
This duo is made up of white/beige with silver shimmers and a pink/peach with gold shimmers. The texture is powder/cream and very easy to blend. I wear the white on my tear duct and lightly dust the peach shade as an all over eyelid shade. Personally I find it hard to work with pink eyeshadows but this particular one is quite flattering. The pigmentation is great and the main thing I like about this duo is that works great for the spring and summer.
I've had the Shiseido and Lancome eyeshadow palettes for over a year now and not sure whether they are still available or have been discontinued. The Face Shop blush was purchased in Korea.
