Estee Lauder MagnaScopic Mascara in #01 Black
I like this mascara because of the thin tapered wand and relatively creamy formula. It works well at lengthening, defining as well as slightly volumising. Instead of watery mascara formulas, I prefer thicker and slightly drier ones like this MagnaScopic mascara as it seems to work better at grabbing onto my lashes, and multiple layers of application gives a significantly dramatic effect. The mascara wand is thinly tapered and the bristles are firm which gives me good control and I can get to the tricky areas. This mascara is easy to remove and doesn't smudge nor flake throughout the day. The only downside is that it doesn't keep my eyelashes curled.

This mascara has a flexible rubber wand which is comfortable to control. It has a button on the handle that activates the wand to oscillates/vibrate. I find that this mascara gives my lashes volume especially at the roots of my lashes and some definition, however, not much length. It doesn't smudge nor flake throughout the day, but I find that it isn't easy to remove. Most waterproof mascaras I have tried were effective at keeping my eyelashes curled, and I was expecting this water-resitant formula to do so too, however, my lashes drooped back downwards soon after application. The mascara also and has a sheer watery/moist formula that I am not so fond of.
