This product was brought to my attention when I saw this on sale at Chemist Warehouse for about AUD$15 (they retail for about AUD$40). Being a bargain hunter, I started to search for blogs/video reviews to see if this was worth trying out. Consistent amongst most reviews was that the BB Cream was very sheer in coverage (almost like a tinted moisturiser) but I still decided to purchase it.

I got it in the Light Tinted shade, (there were only two shades - Light and Medium).

The things I like about this is that it keeps my face hydrated throughout the day, works well as a makeup base, and also provides a very dewy/radiant finish. Usually, towards the end of the day, the dry spots on my face appear to look flaky, depending on what foundation/bb cream. When I use this Loreal BB Cream as a base under my face makeup, it seemed to reduce this flakiness and kept my skin looking dewy throughout the day.

One of the downsides to this product as mentioned by most reviews is that it has very sheer coverage. Apart from evening my skintone, it did not conceal any blemishes nor cover up extreme redness. Personally, I feel that this is more a hydrating tinted moisturiser rather than a common BB cream in terms of coverage. The other thing I didn't like is that the range of shades. This is about 2 shades darker than my own (as you can see in the swatch above) and since there are only 2 shades and this is the lightest, I find myself using this as a base or mixing this with a higher coverage lighter foundation (for example #51 Bourjois Healthy Mix).

In terms of the skincare benefits that this product claims to provide, I am not sure if it improved my skin as I have't used it long enough.

Overall, I think this would be best suited for those looking for a tinted moisturiser that keeps your face hydrated and radiant looking.

Have you tried this? If so, what are your thoughts?
